Using Pay Per Click Advertising With Clickbank Products

Posted in Affiliate Programs, Make Money Online, Clickbank, Online Advertising, Pay Per Click Advertising by Administrator on the April 17th, 2008

A few years ago pay per click advertising was one of the easiest things to use to earn money on the internet. Over the last few years a lot more people have been trying it so there’s now a ton of competition for highly searched keywords. There are also a lot of different rules in the pay per click game nowadays, especially when it comes to Google Adwords. You pretty much have to have your own website promoting affiliate programs to have any chance at making money with Adwords whereas a few years ago you could directly link pay per click campaigns without a website.

Of course, there is still a lot of opportunity to succeed using PPC advertising. You can try Yahoo Search Marketing or Microsoft Adcenter and try direct linking campaigns there or create websites promoting affiliate programs and not have as much competition to deal with, but you won’t get near as many clicks either. However, no matter what PPC platform you use you’re best of promoting Clickbank products as an affiliate.

The best thing about promoting Clickbank products with pay per click advertising is that the commission percentages are great, with many products offering 50 or even 75%. If you can get some relatively cheap clicks from PPC advertising you can certainly make money online if you promote the right Clickbank products. Look for Clickbank affiliate programs that not only offer a big commission but also a high payout per sale. Clickbank also recently started offering products with affiliate programs that pay a monthly commission. If you can get people who clicks on your pay per click ads to order those products you’ll get a percentage of the commission every month as long as they don’t cancel their orders.

When using PPC advertising to promote Clickbank products be very careful not to spend too much per click for products that don’t pay much. Constantly check how your PPC campaigns are going to make you continue to make an online profit.

Getting Incoming One Way Links To Your Sites

Posted in Search Engine Optimization, Higher Search Engine Rankings, Websites, Search Engines, Links by Administrator on the April 13th, 2008

With the rise of Google and their search engine ranking system that rewards websites with a lot of incoming links, getting links to your site has become one of the most important factors to online success. However, not just any incoming links will do. Most blogs that allow you to comment have a “no follow” tag that makes any link you put in to not count in the Google ranking algorithm. You still may be able to get the link to count in Yahoo and other search engines, but if you want tons of traffic you need to focus on getting higher rankings in Google. Reciprocal link exchanges have been popular for some time, but Google is also discounting their value as time goes on. These days the best kind of incoming links to get to your websites are one way links, preferably from websites with a high Google PageRank.

A one way link is basically a link to your site from a site that you didn’t trade links with. If a webmaster comes across your site and thinks it may have some benefit to visitors of his or her site they may link to it and give you a one way link. However, if you’re new to the webmaster game or have built a new site it’s unlikely you’ll get many, or even any, one way links this way.

Fortunately, there are things you can do to get one way links to your website. A new program called Fast Blog Finder can help you find blogs with “do follow” tags that you can post comments on. You can also join Article Underground, which has many high PageRank blogs you can post on. There are other one way linking programs you can find online, such as CyberLinkPro, which offers thousands of one way links per month for pennies per link. Check out one of these programs or search online to find one way links to your website and get higher search engine rankings to make more money online.

How To Use Anchor Text To Get Higher Search Engine Rankings

Posted in Make Money Online, Search Engine Optimization, Higher Search Engine Rankings, Websites, Links by Administrator on the April 8th, 2008

If you want to earn money online from Google Adsense or affiliate marketing you’ll need high search engine rankings for your websites main keywords so you get enough traffic to turn a healthy profit. One of the most important things to do for higher rankings is to get incoming links to your site from other, preferably high PageRank, sites. What text is used in the links that lead to your website from other websites is also an important factor to consider.

The text used in links leading to your site from another site is known as anchor text. Many times, when you get another site to link to yours, whether its a link exchange or not, they’ll usually use the name of your website as the anchor text. This will still help your sites rankings, but you’re better of if the anchor text is for your sites main keywords. For instance, if you have a fitness website called FitnessArticles.com you’re better of if the anchor text leading from other sites to yours is something like “fitness articles” or “health articles” than the domain name of your site. You’ll be more likely to rank high for those keywords if they’re used in the anchor text.

Some, but not most, link exchange programs do allow you to control what anchor text is used in incoming links to your site. If you join Article Underground you’ll find many blogs you can post on and use whatever anchor text you like. You can also find blogs with the “do follow” tag and make non spammy comments with links to your site using whatever text you want. You can also do this when you submit articles to article directories. Try getting some links while controlling what anchor text is used and watch your site rise in the search engine rankings for the keywords you’re focused on getting ranked high in.
